We spent a great New Years weekend at Jill’s beautiful Edenview property. We were a large group of middle aged professionals who enjoyed the peaceful and scenic atmosphere . The hosts were friendly and have thought of everything to make ones stay comfortable and enjoyable. The animals on the property made it even better, we enjoyed the interaction with the cockatoo and picking the fresh laid eggs for breakfast! There were plenty of activities to enjoy in the area for all ages (Hunter Valley Gardens, many wineries to visit and wine to taste) I would recommend Edenview to anyone visiting Hunter Valley area.

Comfy and Peaceful

We opened the front door and were greeted by a wonderfully presented home, comfortable beds, and it really did feel like Home away from Home. Everything that we needed and more, definitely exceeded our expectations. Spacious rooms, and living areas, with a wonderful outdoor patio. The views from the backyard are breath taking, watching the animals run around and win everyone’s hearts over was fantastic. I think “Goldie” was everyone’s favourite. Booking Edenview was the best decision for myself and 12 of my closest friends, they all loved it and we are definitely planning our return holiday. The owners are so easy to deal with and every question was answered and they are extremely helpful and caring. Thank you for opening your home for us and allowing people to experience your relaxing and beautiful home.

Perfect!

Our group of 18 had a fabulous stay at Edenview. The house is well equipped and comfortable and surprisingly warm even without the lovely wood fire lit. There is plenty of space for adults and kids to have their own zones. The kitchen and outdoor seating and BBQ area are well equipped and there is even an extra fridge outside which was really handy for our large group. Beds were comfy and linen beautiful and everywhere was spotless. We had a few issues with the dishwasher not performing but it wasn’t too much of a hassle. Bringing the dogs and having a secure pen (it is more like a paddock) was great. This comes off the rear of the house so the dogs can be with you while you are using the outdoor entertaining area. The kids enjoyed feeding the ponies apples and checking for fresh eggs. The fire pit was a hit too and far enough away from the house and neighbours we could enjoy it into the night. Jill was super helpful on the run up to our stay, answering all my questions and looking into possible fire bans. Thanks for a lovely weekend break.

We had a wonderful stay at Edenview with the whole family gathered celebrating a family member’s wedding. It is a beautiful property with plenty of space to share time with the family and at the same time to enjoy your own space if you choose to. There are animals on the property that added a lot of fun to our stay. Fresh eggs every day !!! The owners were very responsive and nice, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Edenview if you have a big group to enjoy a holiday together.

Absolutely Perfect!

The house is simply amazing : very big, clean, tidy, with everything you could need including board games, speakers, comfortable beds and couches. The entertainment area outside is absolutely breathtaking! I celebrated my 30th birthday there, and all my guests were so impressed with the place. You can spend a lazy afternoon on the grass, chatting on the veranda, or exploring the surroundings. The place is perfect for a family/friends reunion because there is a lot of space for everyone to enjoy. I wish my week-end there would never had ended!

The host Jill is also an extremely nice and easy person to deal with. I will definitely be strongly recommending Edenview to other friends and family and will be back again. Thank you again Jill, this was the best house I’ve ever rented!

Amazing House!

Thank you Jill for a great stay at Edenview. It was a perfect place for our family reunion and a great spot to showcase the Hunter to our overseas relatives. The property provided us with more than enough space both inside and out, with plentiful area for the range of kids to roam and enjoy the farm animals and country air. The kitchen was well equipped allowing us to cater up a feast.

Fantastic!

What a beautiful spot! The home, property and wildlife really make for a relaxing weekend away. We spent most of the time just hanging out with the animals, visiting local wineries and soaking in the surroundings. Jill was delightful as a host and we would thoroughly recommend the place to anybody looking for a recharging weekend away.

Beautiful Spot!

We stayed here the weekend before Christmas to visit the Hunter Valley Garden Christmas lights. The house is just amazing, beautifully kept and had everything you would want. The views are serene and calming. We had ten adults and five children and the size of the house coped with that extremely well. Would definitely go back!

Excellent Stay!

What an amazing place and way to spend my 30th birthday! We didn’t want it to end. Thank you, Jill and Craig for allowing us to stay in your amazing home. Before we got to have a wonder outside, we were pleased to see that the bedrooms were very clean and everything tidy. I could quite easily have still been there sitting out in the entertainment area looking out over the hills in the distance and at the horses in the paddock when you returned! We were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and a birthday card left by our lovely hosts. We can definitely see why Bubbalouie (the duck) is so in awe of his home 🙂 it really is a beautiful place. We may not have chosen the best weekend weather wise to take a trip, however we still had the most amazing weekend playing board games and kicking the ball around outside while taking in the views of the hills and forests in the distance. We will definitely be recommending Edenview to other friends and family and will be back again ourselves. Thank you again Jill and Craig, it really was a 5 star experience 😉
