THINGS TO DO

Edenview is situated 15 minutes from Cessnock, where all the necessities you need are available – supermarkets, multiple cafes, pubs and clubs, restaurants and clothing outlets. If you’re after great pub food in Cessnock, Pedens Hotel is ideal, and not too expensive. If you’d prefer more of a fine dining experience, then try 221 Restaurant, located at the rear of The Royal Oak Hotel. Other than that, there are Chinese, Indian and Thai to choose from the local restaurants.

An extra 10 minutes further is Pokolbin, the heart of Wine Country. Several wineries host seasonal open air concerts, such as Elton John, John Farnham, Neil Diamond, Fleetwood Mac, Rob Thomas, Cold Chisel – the list just keeps getting bigger each year. Day on the Green, Lovedale Long Lunch and Jazz in the Vines are just more draw cards to this beautiful area. On top of alll of this, there are many more boutique restaurants and galleries to enjoy.
